Mirror 70407 - the new build project

Well, since the website is getting cluttered, time to organize things a bit

Might not know much about anything to do with boats but we do have exquisite taste in web design (OK, it's only us saying that but that's good enough for us). So to make things easier on our readership, here's where you'll find everything to know about 70407. At the end of the day Mirror 70407 will look something like this*

*For the new reader, and to avoid any possible confusion, the Mirror is the thing at the top. You don't actually have to build the Mini too - that's an optional extra for the really dedicated and doesn't come with the kit. Also for the new reader, the boat is actually upside down in this picture. We recommend you don't sail it this way up (as far as possible) as it makes the mast hard to fit.

And, for the avid reader, a bit of broadcast history from the original 1960's radio spots. You'll probably note sensibilities have moved on a bit since then:

‘All the fun of messing about in boats. Build it yourself from the kit. Easiest on the pocket and the easiest job you’ve ever tackled. And remember she weighs less than most wives. The Mirror is a true car-top dinghy. Yours in kit form for just £63.11s cash!’

For the reader in the USA, given our devalued dollar of late, £63.11s is roughly equivalent to about $1.3 million at current rates. For anyone else, come here to visit: we're having a really, really, big sale - everything must go (which, come to think of it, has mostly happened already but there are a few things left - you could always buy your own state or something).
